Who we are

Blacksburg Christian Fellowship (BCF) is a non-denominational evangelical church. It was founded in 1969 and met in rented facilities until 1989, when it moved to its present location. BCF is led by a team of elders, two of whom are full time, and the preaching ministry is shared by several of the elders and other gifted men of the church. Our statement of faith can be found here.

Where we are
The church building is at 2300 North Main Street (US business 460), the first driveway on the right after the brick entrance to the Wyatt Farm subdivision (Vinyard Avenue) as you are leaving town. You can find a map by clicking on the “directions” button above. There are reserved Visitor’s parking spaces in the first parking bay near the building; you are welcome to use these for your first three visits

Our Services
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday at 9.00 am in the Chapel; all believers in our Lord and Savior are welcome to join us for this service. We have two identical preaching services in the Auditorium at 9.45 and 11.15 am. The music in the preaching services is blended, with a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian songs.

For Infants and Children
Three nurseries for children under the age of three are staffed from 9.45 am to 12.45 pm each Sunday. A full complement of children’s Sunday School classes meets at 9.45 am, and a more limited set of Junior Church classes meets at 11.15 or 11.45 am, depending on the ages of the children.

For Teens
217 - An active High School group meets on Sunday mornings at 9.45 am and on Sunday evenings at 5.30 pm.

For Young Adults
The Gravitate group provides opportunities for young adults to socialize and grow spiritually through bimonthly social events and weekly Bible studies.

For Adults
Adult classes meet at 9.45 and 11.15 am each Sunday. In addition House Groups meet regularly (usually weekly) for prayer, Bible Study, and mutual encouragement. Newcomers are welcome to join one of these groups at any time; a list of the current groups and topics can be found here.

Newcomers Welcome
A “Newcomers Welcome” is offered every Sunday at 11.15 am in the Parlor (just outside the central auditorium doors). Newcomers are invited to join one of the elders at this time and learn about the church in an informal “Question and Answer” format.
