This class is a chapter-by-chapter study of the Gospel of Mark. Our goal will be to learn what this Gospel tells us about the Lord Jesus, and about how we are to live as his followers in this world. It will be led by Sandy Young, Mike Buehrer, Mark Broomell, and Wayne Trout.
Tapestry – A Women’s Bible Study

Imagine your life without worry. If you want to experience the calm and contentment in life that scripture talks about, then our study is just for you. We will use Linda Dillow's book Calm My Anxious Heart to discover practical help for overcoming anxiety. This twelve week Bible study will help us discover what the Bible says about contentment and how to apply it to our lives. We will learn to trust God, the One who can meet all the longings of our hearts, as we study, pray and fellowship together. Please join this group of women of all ages, college and up.
International Christian Fellowship (ICF)

This fall, our Bible study series is entitled "God's Promise for the Nations." Beginning on page 1 of the Bible, we will trace God's plan through history to restore the harmony of his original creation. This study provides an overview of the historical, biblical basis of the Christian faith, and highlights the continuity of the Bible through both the Old and New Testaments. We will also find practical application for today's world and our own lives.
If You Were Mine: A Family Life Bible Study: Begins Sept.12

Is adoption a part of God’s plan for your family? If You Were Mine, a Family Life Bible study, will give you reliable, biblical information that will help you seek God’s will for your life as it relates to orphans and adoption. Christian Financial Stewardship: Begins Sept. 5

There are more than 2,350 verses in the Bible that deal with money and possessions. Clearly, God has something to say to us on this topic. Together, we’ll explore what the Bible has to say about priorities, giving, saving, debt, inheritance and training our children. The class will combine video, lecture, small group discussion and practical lab sessions. The lab sessions will help you develop a budget system that works with your personality and develop plans to eliminate your debt, become strategic in your giving and wise in your saving. We will utilize a $13 workbook from Crown Financial Ministries.

If you want to get to know a man of God this class is for you. Paul shares his heart and struggles in this letter like nowhere else in God’s word. By beholding Paul’s depths of love and commitment to pursue others, we hope to become more like him. Join us as we walk together through II Corinthians and enjoy with us the wonder of growing as treasures in clay pots and ministers of reconciliation.

If you answered "yes" to at least one of these questions, then Network is the right class for you! The class is a dynamic program to help Christians understand who God has uniquely made them to be and to mobilize them to a place of meaningful service in the church. It is designed to help each participant identify the three characteristics of his or her unique "Servant Profile" and to understand God's design for the church and his or her role within it. Previous participants have made comments such as "It's a great class and has opened my mind and heart considerably" and "Participating in this class really helped to solidify my sense of belonging to this body of believers and the importance of my service" The class will last for six weeks only.

Youth Activities
Pioneer Girls
Christian "scouting" program for girls, kindergarten through 7th grade. Meets September through May on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Boy's Brigade
Christian "scouting" program for boys, kindergarten through high school. Meets September through May on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
High School Ministry
The High School Sunday School meets every Sunday at 9:45 in room 201. Youth group, or "217" meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:30. Small group Bible Studies meet on various nights during the week. Questions? Please call Ben and Amy Vaughan (552-8502).
YL'd Life ("Wild Life")

Tuesday Morning Women's Prayer Group
Meets every Tuesday morning from 10:30 am till noon in members' homes. The focus will be prayer for the church and the nation, as well as for the salvation of friends and family. All are invited to attend. Feel free to come and join in, stay as long as you are able, and then slip out when you need to go. Contact the BCF office for current meeting place.
Men's Saturday Morning Prayer Breakfast
Meet the second and fourth Saturday of each month, 7:15 - 9:00 am
Community Bible Study
This Bible Study provides weekly small group discussions, home study lessons, a comprehensive commentary and a brief life-application lecture. There are groups for men, women, couples, and children - pre-school through teens. Community Bible Study meets Monday evenings, 7-8:30 at BCF.
